Area di espansione delle residenze abitative negli ultimi decenni la valle è caratterizzata dalla presenza di innumerevoli sorgenti d'acqua ( tra le più importanti quella di Sorginpiano, di Cavalero, di Ondavo e la Peschiera).
The Maratea's valley
A lot of water springs are in this territory , where in the last years was build the house of the Maratea inhabitants. It represents the link between the old medieval borough and the sea that in the past was source of fear and pains because of the Saracen pirates.
