"Ogni lasciato è perso "

by Piero Chiambretti (2001)

comedy film

Every take is lost, the film shot on location even in Maratea, was the first test behind the camera for the Turin comedian Piero Chiambretti.

The scene filmed at the Christ of Maratesta is one of the most hilarious in the entire film.

Every slip is lost - Plot

Successful host of the TV show 'That's amore', the Turin native Piero C. leads a life of good satisfactions between Rome and the Piedmont capital.
Unfortunately, Beatrice, the woman he loves completely, one day leaves him without a clear explanation.
From that moment Piero enters a deep depression, from which it seems impossible to emerge.
He seeks some consolation among friends, but it gets worse: one is a doctor at a mental health clinic, the other is a patient there.
Beside Piero there is Martina, a girl who tries to support and help him.
There is also the porter of the building where he lives, a man ready to rush to his calls.
Martina is in love with Piero, it is clear from the way she behaves: only he does not notice, and instead, when things go wrong at work and he is removed from television, he vents on her, treating her badly.
It seems a story begins with Isabella, a TV colleague who arrives with an Indian saint, seems available, but then leaves him.
Now everything falls apart: Martina has gone, Beatrice is pregnant with another man's child and Piero is left to attempt suicide,
His friends save him, and soon things change; Martina returns and this time Piero does not let her go.

They get married, seem happy at first, but later they separate: loneliness begins again, but perhaps it can be overcome this time.
