Destinations around Maratea

Policastro Gulf or Noce river valley?

Maratea is the only location in Basilicata that overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea, squeezed as it is between the neighboring regions of Campania and Calabria.
In this way, it manages to belong geographically both to the coastal marine area that develops along the coast, the Gulf of Policastro, but at the same time, it is also part of the beautiful inland area that winds through the Valley of the Noce to reach the slopes of Monte Sirino (2005 mt.).

They are all places worthy of a visit...
