the AUTHOR

Carlos Solito, born in Grottaglie (Ta) in Puglia in 1976, driven by his passion for travel and photography, creates photo reports and photojournalistic features for the world, preferring anthropological and landscape themes.

Preferring the freedom of freelancing, numerous Italian and international magazines on tourism, travel, environment, nature, and adventure monthly publish her writings and photographs.

Also collaborate on the creation of tourist guides with various reputable publishers.

Passionate about speleology and outdoor sports, he is particularly drawn to the mountains.

It also produced various multimedia products illustrated dedicated to the identity and traditions of southern Italy.

Among his latest works is a series of books written and photographed on Southern Italy, including Puglia, Between Sea and Olive Trees at the Heart of the Mediterranean, published by the prestigious White Star Editions.

When he is not traveling, he lives in Irpinia.
