The "GREEN FLAG" initiative was created to identify the coasts suitable for children, both for services and for safety. Curated by Doctors Pediatricians Association, the list includes 134 locations including even once Maratea, and remains a valuable tool to choose where to spend summer holidays or just a weekend at the beach with the kids.

With 5 sails prize of this year, Maratea is full of environmental and tourist acknowledgment that they see always at the top in Italy with regard to land conservation and environmental protection.
