Funnicu Reggiu beach
Funnicu Reggiu is the tiny beach that opens almost vertically below the peak of Mount San Biagio, in the locality of Filocaio, south of the port of Maratea.
Its name, which means "royal deposit", refers to a particular prerogative of the legal status of the past Maratea: here was the customs where the goods were unloaded , the same that the city of Maratea imported and exported throughout the ancient Kingdom of Naples .
