Beach of Valle d’ Acqua
The cove of Valle d’Acqua is a small inlet with a highly evocative name in the bay of Marina a Maratea between the Citrosello point and the Caino point.
On this point rises the sixteenth-century tower Caina, so called, it is said, because of a fratricide committed there.
The little beach is nothing more than a flat spot on the rocky chain linking the two headlands and marking the boundary between the villages of Marina and Castrocucco.
