The I Vranne Beach is a large stretch of fine, dark sand placed under a cliff of the coast between the Port of Maratea and the village of Marina di Maratea.
The beach is interrupted by a group of rocks that almost divide it in half.
The location is very beautiful, used as a support point and resting place for those who love boats.
At the southern tip of this beach, George's grotto opens up to the sea.
In 2016, the I VRANNE beach was awarded the title of the most beautiful in Italy based on the preferences expressed by the participants in the "You Are the Most Beautiful" contest organized by Legambiente, subsequently cross-referenced with the judgment of a panel of experts.
